Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
I rescued Midnight when she was 6 weeks of age. She was only 6 weeks old and very sick when she managed to make her way from a barn where she & her siblings lived to climb a truck's underneath section and held on for over an hour while the truck was traveling to get out of her environment. When the driver arrived in the early morning hour at a hospital where she worked Midnight later during the day dropped to the ground and simply waited for her faith. Another hospital worker walked by that afternoon and noticed her under the truck. She took Midnight into the employees lounge area of the Operating Room section of the hospital where she worked and said "look everybody what I found under a truck". After learning it was under her truck one of the employees spoke up "that is one of the kitties from my barn". I asked her "what are you going to do with her - she looks to be sick"? "I'll just take back to the barn" said the employee. "No", I said - "she needs a Vet" - Long story shor...
