Hello: Pictured is a beautiful German Shepherd dog who happens to be the loved one of a close family member. His name is Major. Major represents a breed of dogs along with other breeds trained to smell and find bombs, illegal drugs, lead the blind, plus perform many other uses to better the lives of humans. Their contributions to humankind is so amazing it is, well, amazing. I, for one, have a deep appreciation for animals, especially dogs. I photographed Major in 2015 with my Nikon camera plus I posted its image on my FAA art site as a regular photographic image print plus also as a digital abstract. Today, I decided to use an oil brush on its image to see the effect. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the results since I am posting "The Major".
